Finished Video

Above is our finished music video of Undercover Martyn, which now can be found on youtube. This was a huge step from our first draft of our music video and is definitely better. We found out that from our first draft that the video dragged on at points and some parts were boring and didn't relate to the music genre or the music. We needed to make sure in this video that we used conventions of the indie genre and we showed stereotypical of what the indie bands are like in this day and age. When editing this video we also wanted it to be upbeat and fast paced, so we made sure when editing that we included quick cuts and made sure it was to the beat of the music. We also wanted a variety of camera angles and shots, so throughout the video we made sure we used different camera angles and had a variety of shots. I personally think we worked extremely well as a group as we only had a short amount of time to reshoot this and edit it as well. I also think we all contributed extremely well to make the video to the best that we could. My favourite bit in the video is at 1.41 when the cuts are really quick and we moved around, it works really well with the music and beat. As a group we think we have performed really well as we had to re-shoot and edit only in a short space of time. We are pleased with the end result and we hope you enjoy watching it.
