We wanted to research some other digipaks so that we could understand what was needed from an alternative/inde digipak. When we were researching we found these two digipaks very eyecatching and wanted to produce something of these two digipaks. The Kooks Inside In The Inside Out is a very eye catching digipack as the band are involved througout it. The front cover shows the band wearing very stereotypical clothing for the indie genre. They are also holding/playing their instruments which also shows a very stereotypically indie group. The back cover though was the same photo by slightly zoomed in to show more detail. The other front cover we research and analysied was Noah and The Whale's CD The First Days of Spring, this shows the band taking up much of the front cover and shows the lead singer with a camera, its a very orginal photo and works extremely well for the indie genre. On a whole we have learnt that we need to take a orginal photograph for our digipak and make sure that it relates to our target audience.
